When the sun goes down in the Bahamas the exciting nightlife begins. There are many exciting choices for you to make when you head out for the evening. Whether you’re single and on a trip with your friends or you’re vacationing with your family, you’re sure to enjoy a fun evening.
If you’re wanting to relax one evening, but don’t want to stay in your hotel room, find out what kinds of live shows are being performed. You may be able to enjoy Bahamian showgirls or a cabaret. Theaters also have shows that are family friendly. Take your kids out to watch a fun performance of the native Bahamians. It will be a show they will remember for years to come.
Pirate of the Bahamas – Grand Bahama Island: Enjoy a bonfire on the beach listening to rake ‘n scrape and calypso music performed by a local band every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-9PM.
Yellow Bird Show Club – Freeport: Be treated every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night at 9PM to Bahamian natives performing live shows. You’ll watch in amazement as they eat glass, limbo dance, play their steel pan drums and perform to a fire dance. Price of admission is $20 per person.
Kings and Knights Club – Nassau: Take your family out for an enjoyable night of watching comedians, fire eaters and limbo dancers at the Kings and Knights Club. A spectacular Junkanoo finale will make you happy you didn’t miss this performance. This show has been performed for over 35 years so you know you’re in for a fun evening with veteran performers.
